The First Macintosh Was Unveiled 36 Years Ago Today

On this date in history: 36 years ago, Steve Jobs unveiled the first Macintosh computer at an Apple shareholder meeting in Cupertino, California.

It featured a 9-inch black and white monitor, 8MHz processor, 128K of RAM, and floppy disk drive.

All at a consumer friendly price of $2,495 in 1984. That's equals $6,214 in today's cash.
