Sorry for the lack of an update on Monday but the internet was out at the office for a good portion of the day and then I got swamped with all the things I have to get done before the end of today. However I couldn't let the holiday weekend start without a blog!

First lets take some time to mourn all the bands that have called it quits in the past week or so. Grown Ups, O Pioneers and Thursday have all recently called it a day and I'm extremely bummed about all these bands coming to an end. To add salt to the wound Thrice is going on hiatus! At least there will be a chance of these guys play one more time next spring, but after that who knows!

Don't cry just yet though, as some bands have decided to reunite in the next few months. Both Fifteen and The Wunder Years are playing a benefit show in Petaluma at the end of the year. So you know where I will be come the end of the year.

Another band that I am excited to see reunite is The Promise Ring! Though, if i want to see them I am going to have a travel quite a bit as the only shows they are playing are in Chicago and Milwaukee.
