The footage, shot on June 23 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles -- where a memorial service for Jackson reportedly will be held on July 7 -- opens with Jackson performing some of his patented military-style, slow motion marching dance moves along with the male dancers, who are behind him on a slanted platform.
A $25,000, solid bronze, 14-karat gold plated, custom casket has been ordered for Michael Jackson. The casket -- ordered last night from Batesville Casket Company -- is called a Promethean and will feature a flame blue velvet interior and a hand-polished, mirror finish. This is the same casket used to bury James Brown... and is extremely rare.

LOS ANGELES -- A Michael Jackson public memorial service has been set and will take place on Tuesday, July 7, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, according to multiple media outlets. The memorial honoring the 50-year-old pop star will unfold at the 20,000-capacity arena after the holiday weekend, nearly two weeks after Jackson died after suffering cardiac arrest at his rented home in Los Angeles on June 25.
The arena is also the venue where Jackson was rehearsing for his 50-show "This is It" concerts, which were originally slated to kick off at London's O2 Arena on July 13. He rehearsed at the venue just hours before his death.
Randy Philips, president and CEO of AEG, which runs the facility, told KNBC that the service, which will be open to the public, will begin at 10 a.m. Arrivals are set to begin at 8 a.m.
According to Philips, the overflow crowd will be accommodated at Nokia Plaza outside the venue, where widescreen TVs will broadcast the proceedings inside.
"Details are still to be finalized when I meet with the Jackson family this afternoon," Philips said. "Everything is in preliminary stages except the place and time."
Representatives for the Jackson Family have yet to confirm the arrangements, but will do so at 2PM in a press conference today (Friday, July 3).
Thousands are expected to swamp Los Angeles, California, to mourn him Tuesday at the Staples Center, and the accompanying media crush will be enormous.
The tribute to the King of Pop at Harlem's Apollo Theater earlier this week drew coverage from all over the world, along with a public turnout in the thousands.
Given the feverish interest in all things Jackson, the Los Angeles memorial could be one of the most-viewed events of all time.

What was supposed to be a news segment reporting on the reaction following Michael Jackson's death turned into a debacle (and viral video) for Nevada's KTNV news channel.
KTNV sent reporter Steve Ryan onto Las Vegas' infamous Fremont Street to do some reporting on how Sin City and the people who flock there were taking the death of the King of Pop. Unsurprisingly, a rowdy, beverage-swilling fellow kept interfering with the newscast, causing Ryan to shove him several times -- including once in the face. Once the hand-to-face incident happened, KTNV cut back to the newsroom where shocked reporters abruptly worked to keep the newscast going.

Michael Jackson's body will be transported Thursday, July 2nd to the singer's Neverland Ranch for a public viewing, CNN reports. The viewing will be held Friday morning, with a private memorial service planned for Sunday, July 5th. Law enforcements officials told TMZ that Jackson's body would be transported in a 30-car motorcade. Security and traffic control are being discussed, TMZ notes.
Despite rumors that Jackson will be laid to rest at Neverland, no official confirmation regarding where the singer will be buried has been announced. According to the Huffington Post, Mayor Rudy Clay of Gary, Indiana is lobbying hard to convince the Jackson family that Michael should be laid to rest in the singer's boyhood city. The plan would call for the downtrodden city to reportedly erect an entire museum and performing center dedicated to the Jacksons, with Michael's grave the heart of the attraction. "If they can do it for Elvis Presley in Graceland, we can do it for Michael Jackson in Gary," Clay told the AP.
According to CNN, Clay expects Jackson's body will be present when the city holds a memorial to the singer next week. "I believe that his body will lie in state in Gary, Indiana," Clay told CNN. "Now, it may not happen, but I believe it will." The Gary, Indiana memorial is just one of the many Michael Jackson tributes reportedly planned in the coming months. As Rock Daily reported, the singer's planned This Is It! concert may become an all-star tribute in the coming weeks.
In other Jackson news, CNN reports that Jackson family lawyer Londell McMillan said that they've located a Michael Jackson will dating back to 2002. However, according to the Wall Street Journal, it is unclear if the unearthed will is the latest version. According to the WSJ, the 2002 will leaves Jackson's assets to his three children, his mother Katherine and various charities, but nothing to his father Joe Jackson.

Sacramento, CA's Deftones have decided to scrap their new album. Titled Eros, the album was a group of songs that featured currently hospitalized bass player Chi Cheng who was in a severe car accident. Says the band:
The songs recorded for Eros are very special to us as they are the latest with Chi (and we certainly hope not the last); they have history and significant meaning to us. However, as we neared completion on Eros, we realized that this record doesn?t best encompass and represent who we are currently as people and as musicians. And although those songs will see the light of day at some point, we collectively made the decision that we needed to take a new approach, and with Chi?s condition heavy on our minds while doing so. We needed to return to the studio to do what we felt was right artistically.
