SIXX SENSE AIRS WEEKNIGHTS
11PM - 4AM
Meet Nikki
Rock legend. Best-selling author. Photographer. Fashion designer. Record label president. Nikki Sixx would be a man of many hats, if they didn't cover up his hair. His accomplishments as the founder, bass player and songwriter of Motley Crue, by themselves, are enough to make him an icon. But Nikki's insatiable desire to express himself has led him to become much more than just a music superstar.
Besides the 80 million albums Crue has sold worldwide, Nikki also topped the New York Times Best Seller list for more than six months with his autobiography The Heroin Diaries. The book's soundtrack from his supergroup Sixx: A.M. spawned the song "Life is Beautiful," the most played rock track of 2008. Nikki is the President of the record label Eleven Seven Music. He's a photographer, a philanthropist and the co-founder of the rock couture fashion line Royal Underground. Now, he's expanding his influence again, taking control of the airwaves with the syndicated radio show "Sixx Sense," and its weekend companion, "The Side Show Countdown with Nikki Sixx."
Meet Kerri

As a personality, producer and writer, Kerri Kasem has made her mark all across radio and television. Besides mixing it up with Nikki on “Sixx Sense” she’s also anchored her own show, The Kerri Kasem Podcast, showcased her love of motorcycles as co-host of Racing Rocks with Riki Rachtman and dished out real estate advice as co-host for the syndicated Mortgage Radio Show. You've seen her on SiTV's The Rub, Spike TV's Ultimate Knockouts, Hannity and Colmes, America's Funniest Home Videos and E! Network's Coming Attractions.
Motley Crue fans might have to wait a while for a full album from the band - but new tracks are definitely on the way. Nikki took part in an online chat recently and said that they've been writing new material together, and that "when the songs are ready, we’ll record them...how we will release them, we don’t know, because everything is changing and we kinda like it."
When asked if the Crue might put out something other than a standard album, Nikki offered, “How we release music in the future, whether it’s song by song, EP by EP, album by album, or soundtracks to movies, we don’t know... We’re open and excited about our future, and in no rush to release music just to release music."
The Crue's new single, "Sex," is due out July 17th.
Recently, Producer Kyle(@KyleChrise) sat down with noted Tattoo artist Joe Capobianco (@WhatsNotTaLike) about the auditions for the new season of "Best Ink" on Oxygen, and what it takes to become a great tattoo artist...give it a listen!
Nikki recently hit Dodger Stadium to hang with the team, meet with fans AND throw out the first pitch of the game!
